Four weeks at home during the New Zealand lockdown allowed us to reassess the way we did things. We were forced to create an office space at home for those important Zoom calls. Some of us even took to DIYs around the home that never got done otherwise. But one thing’s for sure: We have come to appreciate what’s in our very backyard more than ever. NZ-Made products have become the hottest trend after lockdown!
New Zealand designers are known to push boundaries and create products for your home that are unique and sustainable. We appreciate workmanship and quality in our products at home, but now it has a whole new meaning. Today, we want the same workmanship and quality, but with purpose and meaning.
When you select NZ- made furniture and decor for your home, you are supporting a family owned business that was impacted by Covid-19 . You are receiving some of the highest skill and design available in our industry. From David Trubridge lighting, to Kovacs’ bespoke furniture pieces, and Zanders & Co luxurious accessories, our homes can be filled with NZ-made products from head to toe.
Over on Instagram, I have been showcasing NZ-made businesses who have teamed up with Durrant Design to produce beautiful pieces for our clients. During Covid-19, I have shared a little of their story. Head over to my page and have a look by clicking here.
While our country is still conquering Covid-19, I wish you well and to keep safe at these times. Kia Kaha (stay strong) and I can’t wait to see you on the other side of this.
